A Milestone for the Journal of Planning: Special Issue on "Urban Food Planning"
We are thrilled to share with you the first English special issue of the Journal of Planning!
Edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel Karakaya Ayalp, Prof. Dr. Danielle Wilde, and Prof. Dr. Einar Braathen, this special issue on Urban Food Planning aims to expand the body of literature on urban food systems and to disseminate the outcomes of the FUSILLI Project, which was funded by the EU`s Horizon 2020 programme. Bringing together scholars and practitioners from Europe and the Global South, the issue is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Dr. Yves Cabannes, a valued member of the international planning community who recently passed away. Cabannes also made important contributions to the preparation process of this special issue.
Comprising research articles, reviews, and opinion pieces, this special issue is now accessible on our journal`s website.

Planlama Dergisi`nde Önemli Bir İlk: "Urban Food Planning" Özel Sayısı
Planlama Dergisi olarak sizlerle ilk İngilizce özel sayımızı paylaşmaktan büyük bir heyecan duyuyoruz!
Doç. Dr. Emel Karakaya Ayalp, Prof. Dr. Danielle Wilde ve Prof. Dr. Einar Braathen‘in editörlüğünü üstlendiği Urban Food Planning temalı bu sayı, kent gıda sistemleri literatürüne katkı sunmayı ve Avrupa Birliği‘nin Horizon 2020 programı kapsamında yürütülen FUSILLI Project çıktılarının yaygınlaşmasına zemin oluşturmayı amaçlıyor. Avrupa`dan Küresel Güney`e uzanan geniş bir coğrafyadan araştırmacı ve uygulayıcıları bir araya getiren bu özel sayıyı, yakın zamanda kaybettiğimiz, uluslararası planlama topluluğunun değerli bir üyesi olan Prof. Dr. Yves Cabannes`ın anısına ithaf ediyoruz. Cabannes, bu özel sayının hazırlık sürecine de önemli katkılar sunmuştu.
